How to Manage IndiaMART Leads Without Missing Any

A practical routine for getting IndiaMART enquiries out of Lead Manager and in front of the right person.

By the DialCRM.AI team · Published 5 November 2026

The most reliable way to manage IndiaMART leads is to bring them automatically into one system, give each an owner as it arrives, and schedule the next follow-up before moving on. Working them directly from Lead Manager gets harder as soon as more than one person is involved.

Why do IndiaMART leads get missed?

  • Buyers often contact several sellers, so a slow reply can lose the sale.
  • Enquiries are checked when someone remembers to look.
  • Nobody is clearly responsible for a given enquiry.
  • The result of the last call is written down somewhere else, or not at all.

Step 1: Connect Lead Manager to your CRM

IndiaMART offers a CRM key under Import/Export Leads in Lead Manager. A CRM can use that key to fetch enquiries. IndiaMART limits each key to roughly one call every five minutes, so where it is offered, also use a push, which delivers each enquiry as it arrives.

Step 2: Decide who owns each enquiry

Set a rule before the enquiries start flowing. The rule matters less than having one: an enquiry that belongs to everybody tends to be answered by nobody.

Step 3: Log every attempt and book the next one

After each call, record what happened and when to try again. A follow-up with a date raises a reminder; one kept in someone’s head does not.

Step 4: Review what was missed

Look each week at response times and missed follow-ups. That tells you more than the number of enquiries does.

Doing this in DialCRM.AI

DialCRM.AI connects with your IndiaMART CRM key, and can accept a push as well. Enquiries arriving both ways are matched by IndiaMART’s enquiry ID, so they do not appear twice. Sync older data brings in an earlier period when you first connect.
